...was NOT a hit. Although, mine was pretty good without the bread. Otherwise, the children stared back at me in abject terror when I suggested they venture beyond eating their bacon dipped in hollandaise sauce. Mike doesn't like eggs benedict at all so his plate is the one with just sauteed veggies with over easy egg and slice of bacon. I made a similar recipe a year ago without the bell pepper and onion mixture and the kids enjoyed it quite a bit. So, the hollandaise sauce is awesome and so is the bacon, but I'll definitely put the bell pepper and onion mixture on the side and scramble their egg next time ;)
